Ellijay is a charming small town in Gilmer County and known as the “Apple Capital of Georgia”. Much to my surprise, there are tons of things to do in Ellijay GA that are not just related to apples. Although apple picking and the apple festival that is hosted there yearly should definitely be on your list.
